I'm designing a v-belt & pulleys system for a cement factory ventilation fan. The fan is quite a large and heavy one (about 1 m in diameter). The fan is to be ran at about 1440 rpm and the motor power rating is about 30 kW. What kind of v-belt and pulleys should I select? How many belts are needed? Where can I find more useful information on v-belt (& pulley) standards? Thanks for all your help!
