Hey, I just graduated from University of Wisconsin - Platteville in the ME field back in December. My advice to you would be, don't necessarily take the job that pays the most - make sure you'll enjoy the job. Also, don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Get down with the "guys on the floor" and be THEIR grunt. You'll not only learn a great deal, but you'll earn their respect, and that goes a LOOOOOONG way.
