Hi all, I want to make 3D part models for my Altium electronic CAD system: resistors, capacitors, connectors, etc. Altium reads .step files, so I need that format. Plus, I'm cheap, so I don't want to spend more than about $100. :-) I've tried Alibre PE and it's a great system, but it only produces .stl files which don't contain color information. Any other suggestions? Many thanks,

Well, nothing of value or the good stuff is free. Either decide to not be "cheap" or see Google SketchUp. |
