    What is a UPS pump?

    Can anybody help me out with this? What is a UPS pump. I believe it stands for Ultra pump switch but I am unsure what that means. Any help is appreciated.

    It's not a standard pump type - likely a company proprietary pump name..

    Its probably one of Grundfos' circulation pumps for household use.
    If that is the case, UPS stands for Umwältz Pumpen selektra. Translated as Circulator Pumps Selective. You can chose what speed you want the circulation pump to run at.
