    problem in electrostatics - Homework

    two identical conductors of Cu and Al are placed in an electric field. what will be the ratio of charge induced in them? will it be same, lesser than 1 or greater???

    no someone asked me this. it could be his homework but i couldn't care less.
    i posted this just out of curiosity because i contemplated a bit but really couldn't convince myself with any explanation.

    Now, at steady state shouldn't the ratio be equal to one?
