Greetings, I have a unique math problem I need help setting up. I need the weight (mass) of a part to be exactly 4.375Lbs. Here is what I have/know:
Mass/Weight = 4.3750 Lbs
Density = .3974 lbs/in^3
Length = 8.00"
Width = 4.00"
Height = Unknown
What formula will I need to set this problem up? Would someone be willing to help?
Thanks!
Justin
If it is a cube, then:
Density = Mass / (Length x Width x Height)
or
(Length x Width x Height) = Mass / Density
or
Height = Mass / (Density x Width x Length)
