I need to calculate the Pull-out Torque of a PT screw. Is it correct to calculate by the "Self Tapping Screw Pull-Out and Torque Equations" in the website: http://www.engineersedge.com/hardwar...rce-torque.htm?

Thanks Kelly, actually I have read such recommended design parameters for PT screws. However, as the limitation of the insertion depth that I can provide, I want to know if the pull-out torque is large enough for clamping while I reduce the recommended insertion depth.
Have you considered simply contacting PT Simblex's tech suppport about your question?
