    Off Topic calculating tension of wire rope

    Hi, need help in solving the attached problem. Three forces acting in a pole. Value is given for only one force. how to find the other force and the resultant of 3 forces.

    I am little old for school. This was in a statics book. I was solving one by one. this one I am unable to.

    Of course the 2D solution is easily derived from Kelly's answer resulting in a much simpler problem. Kudos to Kelly for the general solution though.
