    Choice of Aluminum Grade

Hello, I have question as to what is the best grade of aluminum that could withstand temperature ranging from 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Particularly during a process that requires applying a burning process to remove a varnish applied to electrical transformers.

Have you contacted your supplier? That would be the best source of information.

I think most any "grade" of aluminum will work in that environment. You should consider thermal expansion, durability and toughness requirements though.
