Automated Tool Control

Hi,

I am planning to make a project on Machine Vision based upon The Tool Positions for a tool rack.

When a tool is picked from the tool rack . the database will get transferred on the display .

like number of items taken, number of items put back .an automatic control system for tools . its being widely used these days.

I am posting a video . just to give you a gist of what i had planned. any comments or suggestion will be highly appreciated. please do post your thoughts.

Have you actually worked on this idea?
Or is it more conjecture at this point?

Lots of parts in a system like that....
