    Project help please.

    What components and information will I need to make a 12v ac generator power a 6v dc motor?

    if you want to build it by yourself , then you need to build this scheme :
    RC_filter.svg_.png
    As you can see 4 diodes ,1 resistor and 1 capacitor are the components to build AC-DC converter

    and then to filter out only 6V from 12V generator i would use zener diode VOLTAGE REGULATOR

    (be sure to use 6V zener diode not some lower volt ones)
