I was thinking to design reciprocating engine in pro e,not sure where to start from.Any helpful idea,tutorial video etc will be appreciated,thanks..
I suggest that you start by picking a realistic BMEP for the fuel that you intend to use in the engine. This and a reasonable piston speed will help you to determine how many cylinders are in your engine.
Have you read both volumes of The Internal Combustion Engine in Theory and Practice by Charles F. Taylor?
