I need help locating information on material specifications from the U.S. Army Air Corps and U.S. Navy dating back to the 1930's, specifically for aircraft manufacturing of the time. Each had their own specification system with alloy numbers, grades, tempers, etc. and I am unable to locate any information online thus far and was hoping someone here had any knowledge or clues as to where I could continue my search.
The FAA has a document ANM-112N-06-04 for former aluminum and magnesium designations, but I have found it incomplete at least with regards to castings.
