From the pic, it looks like a heat-press machine. People use it the heat a stake to assemble a plastic part and metal part together.
The timer controls the holding time of the cylinder, the temp indicator shows the temperature currently, the counter shows the times pressed, the air pressure controller shows the air pressure of the cylinder (the pressure hold on the plastic part)
As the pic shown, normally there will be a fixture on the table to hold the part, make sure the part has fixed during operation.
