    system that has three types of motion

    Is there any possible system that has at least 3 types of motion is actually applied in real life engineering? I cannot manage to find one on the internet. can someone please enlighten me?

    What exactly do you mean by "3 types"? Linear, rotary, and, uh, what? Or do you mean free motion, guided motion, and restricted motion? Or 3 axes of motion? Please be more specific.

    if you mean 3 degree of motion there are CNC machines, Robots, ball and arm joints among others. if you mean type of motion as in transitional and rotational I have no idea whats the third type if there is one
