Engineering ********** that combine mechanical, electrical and programming

Hello, I am interested in becoming an engineer and studying mechanical and electrical. I also have a strong aptitude for programming and really enjoy it. I was wondering if some more experienced members could provide some insight into any growing or up and coming ********** that combine these three skill sets. Thanks!

Mechanical Engineering is a good subject to study, I mean now it has several fields to specialized, Electrical and Mechancial engineering are kind of universal fields

If some of my fellow engineers will forgive a little hyperbole: Without electrical engineering, nothing moves. Without mechanical engineering, there's nothing to move. Without programming, none of it is under control.

Now, what industry does not need things that move under control? I'm not aware of any.
