Ok, throughout my career I have used Machinery's Handbook for design and Roark's Stress and Strain Formulas for my engineering analysis.
These two books are well know in mechanical design and engineering circles as practical references.

The Structural Engineers Pocket Book is probably the most general guide I use; all the rest are material specific.

Engineering Formulas by Kurt Gieck is a favorite of mine. It's a collection of formulas that cover a wide range of engineering problems in a very small form factor. It's basically my travel engineering reference.
