This is my first post. I decided to try to create my own adjustable dumbbell set for fun. I'm designing it so that the handle drops down into V-cuts in the different size/thickness steel plates. I want to be able to attach the plates to the handle in any configuration to give me the weight on each handle that I want, but I'm having trouble coming up with a mechanism to attach the plates to the handle. I've had a few ideas, but none of them are great. I've attached my CAD images of what I've come up with so far. Any help/input is greatly appreciated!
