We are looking to optimize our current hydroforming tooling and inquiring anyone to recommend the best process. We have looked at Nitriding/Nitrocarburizing and TiCN coating, TiN etc. If anyone has any suggestions.

So you're thinking case hardening to increase tooling life cycle? I think any process that minimizes geometry changes in size and form should be your objective.
