Help on Pulling force on 2ea Slips

I have a hydraulic jack that will pull to 500000lbs and i install 2ea slips between the travelling plate and base plate to achive the 500000ibs hook load.
What is the load shared on the 2ea slips..is it 250000lbs each?
    Thank you for help

Most of us have no idea what you are talking about. A diagram might help.

From what I read you're going to need at least 4X 3/4-16 UNF Bolts. I'd say 450 STT or even the fancy NASM14181 INCO 718 Bolts (you'll need to use NASM14183 washers for these). UNF Thread form is much stronger than UNC. I's solve for Gapping, Shear, Pullout, Ultimate and Yield using an FOS of 3.5 and 2.5. If you have access to ANSYS R21 or higher I'd run a Static Structural Study and use a point mass at teh CG or Moment location.
