Hi,
I have a 1.5" thick Aluminum anodized block with two 1 " hole in it. The block will be mounted to a base plate. Two 24" long rod(anodized) is press fit into the holes of the block. I have another Aluminum block that need to slide on the rods vertical up and down. Is there a rule of thumb/formula to determine the perpendicularity of the rods and hole tolerance so the the block easily slides up and down.
