Fixture and Gage Design Training ASME Y14.43
Training is conducted by a ASME certified Senior Level GDTP professional. The course objective is to educate participants in the design, tolerance specification, manufacture and use of fixtures, jigs and gages to the ASME Y14.43 Dimensioning and Tolerancing Principles for Gages and Fixtures standard. Training covers functional gages used for the measurement of geometric tolerances specifically for the virtual condition boundaries at MMC and MMB conditions. Additionally, subjects on the proper dimensional and tolerancing design of fixtures and jigs used in manufacturing, handling and work holding are taught. Class training is complimented with presentations that explain the design, manufacturing and quality concepts. Additionally, hands-on activities are employed to enhance the lecture and knowledge concepts. Audience: This training is best for designers, mechanical engineers, quality engineers, manufacturing, dimensional inspection and others whom have had exposure to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Entry level engineers, designer, scientist and other professions can benefit from this training series.
