If it is what I think it is, yeah, you have a serious stringy chip problem. Also a coolant tank clog-up problem. Am I right? If you have just started you may not kow that yet.

I have two ways. First pick a toll design that causes the string to fly out the end of the part. Then place a small plastic bucket in the path to catch the "string".

Now bear with me here. This sounds silly but we will all do some pretty silly things to control chips and chatter. I think your dia is a bit small but I seen this work. You have to tinker a bit. But if I'm right you get a long string of chip that ends up wadding up in the part or wraping around everything. So we take advantage of this. You take an old pneumatic die motor and put an emery roll on it with a home made flange on each end of some to be figured out dia. You place this die grinder in the path of the out streaming chip. and tinker with it until the roll grabs the chip "string" and winds it up. You need to adjust the air pressure so the motor will run at about the right torque. The trick is to be able to change the roll often and mount it in a usuable manner. I've never seen anything else work.
