Anyone!!
Please email at .. I'll read it quicker :)
I'm Chris Nissen. I am an engineering at CAD Research. We are a Product Developement Company and we have a small
group of surgeons that are asking be a question that you may be able to help me with.
The object in question is a 6mm Set Screw... The industry standard is a allen or hex socket. But we are thinking about a
square socket (like in wood working use)... The thread form in the "set screw" will be the 6mm with 1mm pitch and so
here are the questions:
Is the hex socket better than the square socket?
Why?
What are the advantages of each?
Thanks for your help
Chris
