Galvanneal vs. Bonderized

I work for a commercial roofing sales company and we regularly sell bonderized sheet metal to our clients. They use the metal for edge details which are left exposed and painted. Recently, we have had a problem obtaining bonderized metal from our distributors but have been offered galvanneal as a substitute. I have found limited information about both types of metal and was wondering if anyone could share any information and let me know if, in fact, bonderized metal and galvalnneal are interchangable.
