I have a problem understanding a drawing. The location of a sphere is toleranced true position to a plane. Lets say on the top view (x/z) a sphere is located 1" basic from a plane defined as datum -A-. The plane runs x/y direction. Now on the front view (x/y) the 1" diameter sphere is true position too .010" to the datum -A-. So I interpet this to mean the 1" basic is really in the Z direction only. Any comments or help is appreciated. Thanks
