Consider using a locking screw, formed on the threads at the area of engagement: either with an applied nylon 'patch'(esentially melted nylon), or a pellet (inserted into drilled hole) or a strip (inserted into milled longitudinal slot.
All create a locking 'bulge' on one side of the male threads, thereby both insuring positive position and assured contact with the opposing mated threads.
