Hi, Im Brian, an engineering student. My current research project is on the effects of pre-strain on the yield strength of Al 2024. I have examined samples of strain 0%-4% prestrain, and tested them on the INSTRON tensile testing rig. I know that isotropic material hardning doesn't occur, and i suspect the type of hardening which does is kinematic. Due to time limitations, i am not to test biaxially, but simply gather up background information on these topics. Can anyone help?? email me. Thank-you.
