if i had a set of nip rolls that when closed onto a plastic sheet going thru the rolls and the surface area in contact with the rolls was 2 inches x 70 " and the gauge pressure on the hydraulic pressure gauge was 200 psi. what would be the amount of force exerted onto the material as it goes thru the rolls? Would you use the formula p = f/a ?
