As a kart racer I am always looking for more speed. Recently I installed a different type of centrifigal clutch. It worked good, but didnt win the race so I am out for questions. The clutch is set to engage at 10,800 rpm of the motor. When I lifted to enter a corner, the clutch would not release then engage again at 10,800 as I got back on the gas. Instead the motor would have to slow down below 10,000 rpm in order for the clutch to completely disengage. What is my answer in order for the clutch to completely release when the motor reaches 10,800 or below. I have an extreme abundance of spring and weight combinations. 3 types of spring pressure and almost an unlimited amount of weight variances.

Is this a spring pressure issue??
