Hi,

I'm looking for equipment in order to perform a remote PC-based Data Acquisition. My main concern is that the device can work with RS422 signals, can be mounted in DIN-rail and have the ability to comunicate via Ethernet or RS485. It would be very useful that the device could be modular with expansion slots.
If somebody could point me towards the right suppliers...

Thanks

I find many variations and a huge line of plug-ins at Oriental Motors.

Welcome,
Although a robotics forum may be a better place to ask this question. I am sure a search of DAC or Data Acquisition will provide a wealth of info on the web. If that fails search out motor controls and user interface panels. These searches should provide sources to catalogs full of many different data acq. systems. The same companies tend to provide all the above. As far as I know all of them are provided with a DIN choice. Ethernet using either wireless or CAT5 cable is very standard hand shake provided in most versions.
