Hello guys, So again I am stuck with my filament winding machine. Since the budget for the project is so small, I have to come by using components which the university allready have. I got hold of a Nikko 24V 145W DC motor, and that is all. I cannot find any specification sheet on the motor or anything. They do not give its no load speed or torque. So I need to devise a plan to determine these characteristics on my own. I would like to if you guys have suggestions for me? The one method I found on the internet is to attach the motor to a dynamometer. So I just hope the university have one of these I can use. Do you guys have any other ideas? Thank you and regards,

You have contacted the manufacturer (Nikko) and they cannot provide you with performance specifications? You will likely spend more time/money characterizing (fixtures, hardware, electrical adapters, mechanical adapters, electricity, time, etc.) the motor than you would if you simply bought one.
