Can anyone tell me how a 120V 60Hz clock can be practically generated....? |

With a simple resistor bridge and diode series circuit. Do the math to find the resistor values or use a wheatstone bridge to determine what values you need. Resist down to 5 volts DC between the two resistors then run from that union t0 the input of an ISO-Op-Amp to output an isolated square wave with one pulse every cycle (60 cycles per second). The worst suggestion of your lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. |

Thank you, randykimball . But I would also like to know how this much high a Voltage ie., 120V could be generated without driving the Op-amp and related amplfier ckts to well above saturation....!
Plz do reply...Thanx in advance. |

What do you mean by "generated"? |

By "GENERATION" I just meant that no external clock can be used, we have to synthesise our own clock signal. |
