Why refigerant distributor from Brass material but not copper | |||

The present outdoor unit and/or an indoor unit of an air conditioner equipped with a heat exchanger having a plurality of refrigerant passages, and a refrigerant distributor system for use in same. Why the refrigerant distributor make from brass but not copper? Although the distributor is fitted to the low pressure side (evaporator). |

It's sometimes easier to use the same parts in 2 different places. It saves in cost of materials and storage. |
