Hi all,

I have read in an article DI water and Polyurethane tube shouldn't be used together, but the reason wasn't given. So can any of you tell me if we use it together will it degrade the tube or degrade the purity of DI water?

Thanks in advance

Hi and welcome to the forum. I have found the DI water is very harsh on Polyurethane tubing. It'll will degrade and break it down it to the point where clear tubing turns white or milky color.

I ended up using Polyethylene tubing. I'm not sure if actually degraded the purity of the water.
