Sounds like you need to go to a HVAC trade school or equivalent. Is there a scholl around where you live?

You wish to be tutored in what aspect of the HVAC industry. This is a vast field comprised of many aspects. Air conditioning, heating, acoustical, ducts, dampers, louvers, heat losses, inspection, fire proofing, smoke proofing, control systems, fan air movement/fan sizing, local/state/national codes .. the list is vast.
..generally (if you can find it) tutoring of any kind by my experience goes at $20 to $35 per hour American. I suggest you seek out a book first, and a code book on the subject of your choice is a great start.

..... Warning, the code books for the national HVAC industry will fill a good sized shelf.

.. FYI ... a couple of years ago Dallas hosted the national HVAC convention. Dallas hosts many industrial conventions, the HVAC convention was the largest industrial group they ever provided a convention site for.

Thank you very much for your replies!

Thank you very much for your replies!

I am a foreign trained engineer - designer of HVAC systems for buildings and I want to study how it is done in North America. I have noticed that most solutions for HVAC systems here and in my home country (Ukraine) are different. I have read some books from university library but I also need some guidance from a mentor. My problem is that I've given advertisements in most newspapers offering $25/hr but have not received any answer. May be you can also suggest me where else I can put advertisements.

Thanks.
