my graduation project is the desgining and manufacturing of an electric wheelchair able to clamp stairs and give so much independecy for disabled ppl , my design is going well , I would like to share u all soon , I just wanted any help with handbooks about the designing of wheelchair , and thats all , if it was possible , and thanks for all of u

Hi Muhamed and welcome to the forum. The first thing I would do before getting started is to do an extensive patent search in wheel chair designs.

There are several companies that already offer state of the art stair climbing chairs....you don't want to violate anybodies patents.

A company local to me developed the Segway....He has a stair climbing chair....it's incredible.

The second thing is follow your government guidelines.

You'll find that designing the chair is the easy part.

We'd love to see what your design looks like.
