rough guide to cad 2d pricing Smile

if i need a machine component making for a swift lathe and i need it cad deigned,does any body know the average price say per hour ?
first time on site so hello everyone, any advice would be much appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum. You'll find that some machines shops do engineering (reverse eng, detail dwgs etc..) for you. Simply provide them the part...they'll draw and fab for you

I provide design, reverse engineering and drafting services with my machine shop. We generally charge $35 per hour for simple drafting, $45 for assemblies and $65 for design work. Hope this info helps,
