If I have an 6061-t6 aluminum cylinder that is 11.38"ID x 54" long, I should have a volume of 5493in3. If I apply 100 psi of compresses air what is the pressure inside the tube?....100psi? Sounds easy but I'm having a brain fart! If not 100psi, how much and how is it figured? Thanks.

If you connect the air compressor hose to the cylinder, and it have no leaks, and air flow is constant just and no more or less than 100 PSI.

could be either way but I'll say no, the compressor would not be pumping at the time the air is let into the cylinder
