Trying to find the stress concentration factor of a radial hole in a tube under axial load.

External diameter: 80-100 mm

Internal diameter: 63-70 mm

Hole diameter: around 4mm

There should be some reference on the book:  Peterson, R. E. "Stress Concentration Factors", Wiley, New York, 1974

but I donīt find it available in libraries.

Will appretiate any help.

The book you mentioned is available at amazon.com. When you get to the site just type in the title and the availability of the book will come up. I just looked and they have copies available from $126.63 used or $160.00 new. Hope this helps you out.

Doug
