Which is better a channel or an angle? | |||

i wld like to know which can transmit more load when used as a bracing with same section modulus... is it a channel or an angle

For a section of channel and angle of equal mass per unit foot, I would suggest the channel. If you calculate the section properties for each section, this will give you a better idea of the maginitude of difference |
