I don't know how thin you need nor how inexpensive you are talking, relative wise .... but you can buy gloves at the discount store to keep from cutting your hands while cleaning fish or wood carving. This material must be available somewhere. I have no idea if that helps but the thought counts.
The worst suggestion of you lifetime may be the catalyst to the grandest idea of the century, never let suggestions go unsaid nor fail to listen to them. |

Hi Randy, Thank you for your reply. Actually, my application is to have the material that fabmet suggested "sandwiched" between 2 pvc flexible film and make it scissor resistant. Reason being, we hope to deter theft of our product by people who could be using a pair of scissors. Certainly we can't stop theft but we can put in deterrent measures. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Regards,

hi fabmet, thank you for your reply. Is this strip under the "Funner" brand or simply call funner strip? I did a search on goggle however it seems elusive. By the way is it flexible like those PVC strip and is it gonna be expensive? I'm looking for something inexpensive n "does the job". Thank you once again for your suggestion. regards, Max |

Hi fabmet, Thank you for your reply and your assistance. With regards to the thickness of the material, I have no idea except for these requirements: thin ( less than 1mm), flexible and normal scissors resistant. The reason for it being scissors resistant is to deter theft by a normal pair of scissors. Once again thank you for your suggestions. Regards, Max

I myself tried and failed searching for the word “funner” in dictionaries web and books therefore understand you problem. I am not even sure if it is some kind of brand name. The mechanical type old clocks had helical spring made of strip for winding; we and our local market in Well the foregoing was for the search of the material. If you let me know the details of the product you transport, type size thickness, mode of transportation etc, I can try to be more helpful. Sorry for the inconvenience if any. Take care.
