Ive got a design involving a 40lbm mass oscillating back and forth 5" in a sinusoidal manner at 300 cycles/min.
Cant seem to find a bearing that gives decent life. I need probably 5 yrs of life minimum at 2 shifts/day @ 80% efficient. so far cant get past 140 days. Question: Is there a different style linear system that anybody has used with success. (have looked at the classic recirculating ball big name manufacturers so far.) The 5" stroke seems to kill the lifetime calculations. Thanks in advance for any suggestions |

Show us a schematic or better description of what you have and the design constraints such as 1) environment 2) load offest 3) cost Then I think we can help. |
