I've developed a compoite bolted joint on FEA. My material is in homogeous orthotropic form. Basically instead of modelling each layre of lamina, i've modeled each plate with the equivelent properties of a layred specimen. I want to investigate failure critera....i.e Von Mises. But What theory is available for homogenous, orthotropic materials?
