| Maximum rated discharge pressure for centrifugal compressor |  | ||

We have a pipeline system designed for 600# pressure rating (100 kg/ cm2 @ 60 deg C). We would like to maximise the discharge pressure of the compressor. Request your advise about the maximum rated discharge pressure which can be selected for the given pipeline.
Generally what margin can be considered over rated discharge pressure considering head/ pressure increase in case of less flow and considering discharge pressure controls like speed control, surge control valve, throttling etc. Is there any code which specifies necessary margin for the piping design over rated discharge pressure of centrifugal pressure? |
