| nozzle rib plates | |||

I am currently designing a pressure vessel under ASME Sect VIII div1. One of my nozzle 10 inch is failing under its required loading.
I am welding 12mm thick rib plates onto the nozzle to strenghten the nozzle which i believe will do the jod. but now i require some formulars and calculations to convince my client that the rib plates will work. no luck trying different text books and references. Please help. |
