Hi all,

Is it possible for a positioner to hold a specific valve position consisitently when the pressure of the fluid inside the valve is greater than the pressure of fluid controlling the actuator action. Will the valve line flow change the position of the actuator? If it is possible, then how?

Regards,
Paramaguru.RP

The only rquirement of the controlling fluid is that it creates enough moment to withstand the effect of controlled fluid acting against the valve and could easily be significantly less pressure.
