I am just finish design a mechanical module. And now i need to suit a stainless steel compress spring on this module but i dont know how to select the following compress spring. Now i have 10kg of the load on top of the spring, total length of the spring are 35mm, pre-load 4mm (35mm-4mm=31mm), inner diameter of the spring 16mm, speed of the module when compress the spring 5mm/sec. So now i would like to know the wire diameter of the compress spring, number of coil, and pitch to pitch of the coil. would any one please show me the solution.
