Somebody can help me to understand and to source the information about the screw thread standard. The screw thread in my drawing I receive from customer are ART 100x8 - 6g/4 and ART 56x2 7H 3.45(4 filets). As I known the ART is asymmetrical trapezoidal screw thread, artillery type 3 degree - 45 degree basic profile. Is one of the power screw type. As I know the 100x8 and 56x2 is diameter x pitch. But I don't understand about 6g/4 and 7H 3.45(4 filets). Please help me to understand and where I can find the information. |

The 6g/4 and 7H are standard ISO tolerance grades. |

I think the spec is DIN 13, ISO Metric Screw Threads. You can probably find it on the web. |
