I'm researching for the optimum material to use for cutting stone. There will be a force of 500 tonnes exherted on the stone and I need to find a material that will withstand this force and is cost efficient. Any suggestions much appreciated. |

Need a little more back ground here before I can help. When you say cutting, as in a shear? I recently hard faced some components that came from a stone mill. Regardless of what they used, the wear is inevitable. |
